Leica V-Lux 30: The universal compact camera for carefree photography
Leica Camera AG will unveil this month their new update of compact point-and-shoot V-lux series, the Leica V-Lux 30. This new 15.1 megapixel (effective 14.5 MP) digital camera features a Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens with focal length range of 4.3-68.8 mm, aperture opening to as wide as f/3.5mm to f/5.9 ASPH at 16x telephoto. The focal lengths is equivalent to 24mm-384mm in 35 mm format. Because of this high performance lens that Leica V-Lux 30 could deliver outstanding image quality which could cover a wide range of photographic opportunities be it in wide-angle, macro shot, or telephoto for distant subjects. It also features a touch screen LCD with 460,000-pixel resolution with great usability for both manual and auto functions. A GPS function allows for image tagging together with 1080i Full HD video recording in AVCHD format. Leica V-Lux 30 has a burst speed of 10 fps continuous shooting at full 14.1 MP resolution and can also generate 3D images
